This beautiful dark navy with lighter navy and ivory accents handcrafted, twined rug is sure to brighten any area of your home! This woven rug is 46” x 21” and is a perfect size to use in front of your bathtub.
Twined rugs are made by wrapping or twinning material the vertical pieces (warp) of fabric on a loom. This rug is made from new and washed cotton material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined).
All joins are machine stitched and all edges turned in.
A lot of hours go into making a twined rug --- 30 plus hours for me to make a rug of this size-- but that's nothing compared to the years of enjoyment you will get out of a twined rug.
Twined rugs are very sturdy, lay flat and last for many years. If one side gets dirty, shake it out and flip it over, or throw it in the wash. This rug is machine washable. Hang or drape over a railing or chair to dry. You can also toss it in the dryer on the delicate setting.
