Custom Twined Rugs & Placemats for Kitchen, Bath, Entry. Reversible- Lays Flat - Machine Washable

This beautiful fabric is just waiting to be woven into a twined rug that is sure to brighten any area of your home! Or how about a set of placemats to brighten up your kitchen as well as add protection to your table.

I have a huge supply of colorful fabric and don’t know what to work up next, so I thought I’d let you pick. Look for other color selections among my listings.

I will need approximately 2 weeks to weave the rug to hand twine a 36" x 24" rug or a set of 18" x 12" placemats.

Twined rugs are made by wrapping or twinning material the vertical pieces (warp) of fabric on a loom. This rug is made from new and washed cotton material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined).

A lot of hours go into making a twined rug --- 20 to 24 hours for me to make a rug 36" x 24". I do machine stitch all of may joins rather than knotting them and all edges are turned in as I weave. These are totally reversible! And so very durable!!

Twined rugs are very sturdy, lay flat and last for many years. If one side gets dirty, shake it out and flip it over, or throw it in the wash. This rug is machine washable. Hang or drape over a railing or chair to dry.
