This placemat set was hand woven using new green, and pre-washed, fabrics. Perfect for adding a pop of color (as well as protection) to your table.
Both table mats are tightly woven, will lay flat and are reversible and washable! All joins were machine stitched together and all edges turned in.
Both of the placemats were washed after twining.
Each mat measures 17.5” x 12.5”
Twined rugs or placemats are made by wrapping or twinning material on a loom. The vertical pieces of fabric is called the warp. This rug is made from new cotton / cotton blend material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined). This same method was used to make the mats.
There are many uses for twined placemat size mats ... on your table, use one under a large potted house plant, or a mat for your pets food and water bowls.
These mats are reversible, very sturdy and will last for a very long time. They are machine washable! Lay flat or hang to dry.
