READY TO SHIP Pastel Twined Rag Placemat Set-Handwoven 15x13 placemats-Reversible-Washable-Lays Flat
I've taken a short break from twining rugs to make a few sets of twined placemats. This set was twined using new, soft pastel colored fabric. Both mats are tightly woven, will lay flat and are reversible and washable!
Each mat measures 15" x 13"
Twined rugs or placemats are made by wrapping or twinning material on a loom. The vertical pieces of fabric is called the warp. This rug is made from new cotton / cotton blend material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined). This same method was used to make the mats.
There are many uses for twined placemat size mats ... on your table, use one under a large potted house plant, or a mat for your pets food and water bowls.
These mats are reversible, very sturdy and should last for a very long time. They are machine washable! Lay flat or hang to dry.
