This rug was hand woven using new, prewashed Batik green and yellow fabric, It is tightly woven and would be a great addition to any area of your home. The finished size is 22.5” x 38”.
All my rugs are returnable, so if you find the color isn’t what you expected, you may return it for a full refund!
Twined rugs are made by wrapping or twinning material the vertical pieces (warp) of fabric on a loom. This rug is made from new and washed cotton material for both the warp and the weft (material running horizontal that is twined).
A lot of hours go into making a twined rug --- 20 to 24 hours for me to make a rug 36" x 24" --- but that's nothing compared to the years of enjoyment you will get out of a twined rug.
Twined rugs are very sturdy, lay flat and last for many years. If one side gets dirty, shake it out and flip it over, or throw it in the wash. This rug is machine washable. Hang or drape over a railing or chair to dry. Should you decide to toss it in the dryer, you may notice a small amount of shrinkage.
